Ferretti launches first Custom Line 108’ superyacht

The Ferretti Group has announced the launch of their latest addition to the Custom Line series: the very first 108.

Launched at the Ferretti shipyard facility in La Spezia, Italy a few days ago, the yard will spend the next few days completing the interior outfitting of the yacht and testing her engineering systems on the water. Once these tests are completed, the yacht will be delivered to her new owner in a private ceremony.

Stefano de Vivo, chief commercial officer of Ferretti Group commented, “The creation of the very first Custom Line 108’ has spread great enthusiasm across the shipyard, which has worked very hard over the last few months to successfully get to the launch of this new maxi yacht.”

The new Custom Line 108 offers impressive sport performance and ultra modern technology, while still providing spacious guest areas on board. She boasts a custom interior that was tailor-made to the new owner’s requirements, combining soft leathers, fine woods and precious materials to create a true Italian interior.

Hull number one of the 108 series has been fitted with two MTU 16V 2000 engines, which deliver a top speed of 26 knots. She is able to cruise comfortably at 23 knots, with a range of 1000nm achieved at 12 knots.

Ferretti has reported that construction is currently underway on three more hulls of the model.
