First Arcadia 100 under construction

The first Arcadia 100 superyacht is currently under construction at the Arcadia Yachts shipyard in Naples for an Italian client. Set for launch in June 2016, she features a family-living style similar to that of her sister ship, Arcadia 115.

The new 100 model will feature a large volume-to-length ratio, with a gross tonnage just below 300GT. With a social environment aboard, guest areas are uncluttered, linking easily with exterior decks through full-length windows and wide sliding doors.

Unique to this model is a new concept flybridge that is convertible into a sheltered deck that is protected by sliding windows, which can be raised electronically to join with the hard top. This allows the deck to be used in several ways depending on the weather.

The Francesco Guida-designed interior is still awaiting approval by the owner, but the concept will house five guest cabins. The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck, with a forward-facing bed in the centre of the cabin. A private opening leads directly out to the foredeck with two further VIP and two guest cabins located on the lower deck. 

The second Arcadia 100 hull is currently being built on spec, and is set to be finished before the end of the year.
