Floating Life Style launch 2015 collection of crew clothing and uniforms

Floating Life Style, part of the Floating Life Group, has announced the launch of a new collection of crew clothing, uniforms and accessories for 2015, tailored with the same Italian tradition and styling that has come to be expected of the brand.

Working closely with on-board personnel, Floating Life Style has developed crew clothing that is specifically fitted to the needs of the crew members working on board some of the world’s most luxurious yachts and superyachts.

A new material has been introduced for technical garments in the 2015 collection, which, according to the Italian brand, have been designed to offer the best in breathability and practicality.

The special yarn increases heat dispersion creating a boundary layer between skin and fabric, increasing air circulation and providing a fresher feel. All the jersey and piquet knitwear will come pre-washed in order to avoid first-wash shrinking.

All garments of the 2015 collection will be made in Italy with increased quality, added comfort and practicality; ready-to-wear thanks to their no-iron characteristics.

Crew clothing will be available for both men and women, and in summer and winter variations.

For the coming summer, the collection has been completely renewed in a new ‘stone’ colour, which the brand believes will compliment the classic white, navy blue, black and beige colours often associated with crew clothing. Several lightweight no-iron garments have also been introduced to the women’s line.

New knitwear will arrive for the 2015 winter season, with his and her v-collar jerseys. Accessories will follow the lead of the 2014 collection with an additional line of headgear added.

Floating Life Style has also announced its role as the official supplier of the next edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, with more than 800 pieces to be worn by 80 staff members hosting the show.
