Four superyachts in production at Christensen

Following the recent announcement of the new ownership of US company Christensen Shipyards, the business has announced that production is underway on four new superyachts. 

The four vessels, Hull 36, Hull 40, Hull 38 and Hull 42, are under construction at their Vancouver facility, and will make up part of the Christensen Custom Series. 

Hull 36, or Silver Lining, is to be delivered first, expected in the next couple of months. She will offer large living spaces, adorned with black walnut interiors and unique stonework throughout. She accommodates up to 12 guests across her six staterooms, and is built to ABS Unlimited Cruising standards under 300 US GT.

Silver Lining's sistership, Hull 38 has also been moved into production, and is expected for delivery in early 2018. This vessel is currently without an owner, and is listed for sale. 

Hull 40, named Chasseur, is also reportedly expected for delivery in the first quarter of 2016. Standing at 48.7m LOA, she also accommodates 12 guests within luxury and contemporary surroundings.

The design of the final 50m hull of Hull 42 is reported to begin immediately, giving an expected delivery date of late 2017.

Christensen are presenting this week at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which is due to kick off tomorrow in Florida.
