FunAir announces three-year partnership with the Monaco Yacht Show Captain and Crew Lounge

FunAir, specialists in inflatable yacht toys, has announced the start of a three-year partnership with the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) Captain and Crew Lounge, commencing in 2016.

According to FunAir, the long-term agreement follows a hugely successful season in America, where their climbing wall and Floating Island inflatables were met with great enthusiasm, and will provide a meeting place for captains and crew during the frenzy of the four-day show.

FunAir yacht specialist, John Courtney explained that the strategic affiliation with Monaco Yacht Show demonstrates the company’s commitment to the most prestigious yacht show in the world. He said, “Having enjoyed phenomenal success at last year’s event, we couldn’t think of a better way to underscore our continued support for the Monaco Yacht Show.

“By partnering with the show, we can continue getting to really know our clients, asking them questions and seeking feedback on what we’re doing with our products. After all, captains and crew have a huge say in the purchasing decision on board yachts and it is their job to ensure owners and guests are having the time of their lives.” 

With approximately 120 yachts expected to display at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show this September, and with another 140 expected to anchor in the Bay of Monaco, FunAir estimates that more than 260 captains and their crew will be looking for some down time during the frenzy of the show.

With the exception of captains and crew, the three-year partnership guarantees that only FunAir have access to the MYS Captain and Crew Lounge. John continued, “The MYS Captain and Crew Lounge really is an oasis of calm amid what is an intense four days. Last year we found that captains and crew welcomed the chance to take time out to chat with us and of course sample some fun. 

“Being the only inflatable company with an in-water display right outside the Yacht Club de Monaco, we will launch our next product line right alongside the most beautiful yachts.”

The Captain and Crew Lounge will be at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show at Quai Louis II, next to the Yacht Club for the entirety of the show, open between 8:30am and 7:00pm.
