In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
As part of its planned expansions, Galileo Maritime Academy has appointed Captain Julius Valladares to lead its Phuket operations. The company has ambitions to go from being a principal superyacht crew training facility in Asia, to the Asia Pacific centre for professional seafarers across the cruise, merchant, and offshore oil and gas industries.
Capt. Julius has extensive sea experience alongside many years spent in training and management roles with maritime academies. He will introduce ancillary technical and safety courses such as ECDIS, HELM, GMDSS and several others in conjunction with the preparation of appropriate programmes of education and training to meet the MCA approved vocational and academic standards for OOW and Master qualifications.
In a quote, the training firm said, “We believe that his avant-garde approach will benefit GMA greatly in developing training courses that set the industry standard for safety and operational excellence and also ensure that Galileo Maritime Academy continues to meet and exceed industry quality standards.”
Galileo Maritime Academy currently provides more than 30 courses including 20 MCA approved basic and advanced STCW courses, as well as marine engineering, ISPS security and vessel stability courses.
