Gill Schmid Design has revealed a new concept for a one-of-a-kind 75m ice-class explorer yacht named Mystique, designed in collaboration with Dörries Yachts.
According to Gill Schmid Design, Mystique is “the result of focused investigations, elaborate design studies and discussions” with the Dörries Yachts shipyard, where Mystique will also be built. It describes her as offering “a new direction in yacht design, exploiting possibilities of flexible space planning and sustainability in a high-volume vessel”.
On board, Mystique features six spacious guest suites, a large owner’s suite with private outdoor deck, and quarters for 25 crew.
As a world-explorer, plentiful space is available on board, allowing for an almost unlimited variation of tenders, toys and support vessels. Included in the initial configuration are an Icon aircraft, Triton submarine, a sailing catamaran, limousine tender, luxury tender, dive boat, Interceptor and Jet Skis.
Mystique also features Jacuzzis, a guest gym and spa, cocktail lounge, extensive guest lounges, and indoor-outdoor dining and entertaining spaces, including an on-deck helipad that doubles up as an outdoor party space with DJ stage or a basketball court.
Further optional features include a fully enclosed helicopter garage with surround double-height beach club, a sinkable swimming pool that transforms into an open-air tender store, and an OceanFarm for a completely new ‘farm-to-table’ dining experience, supported by state-of-the-art hydroponics, fish tanks and food labs.
The design studio has announced that the design is open for further investigation and custom development from any interested client.
