Gosling Marine presents unique carbon fibre deck furniture

London based bespoke furniture designer, Tim Gosling has launched Gosling Marine. Known internationally for expert design and craftsmanship, Gosling has now produced a collection of carbon fibre deck furniture. Each unique piece is designed with precision to create deck furniture with integrity and the sought after features the industry demands.

According to Gosling Marine they are aiming to present something new for the superyacht market by providing a carbon fibre collection, which moves away from the traditional wooden pieces but at the same time, partly stays in touch with tradition by including elements of teak inset in the carbon fibre.

The ergonomic design is ideal for the recent increase in passenger allowance and the collections can be customised to any bespoke colour. The marine grade durability and weatherproofing does not compromise the design and comfort, while the chair seats are supplied with upholstered day and evening cushions.

Tim Gosling commented, “Gosling deck furniture is handcrafted in Great Britain using traditional cabinet making skills and crafted to withstand all the elements the marine world delivers, wind, rain and scorching sun. Replacing outside furniture every couple of years will be a thing of the past. Gosling furniture is engineered to last; they are pieces that owners can take with them if they sell up. Carbon fibre will not discolour, requires minimal maintenance and even when left in full sunlight will remain cool to touch.

The collection is ideal, lightweight furniture, which crew can easily stow away or transport on tenders to remote beaches. Each chair comes with a robust cloth carrier for easy transport. We are confident that our market research has ensured our collection ‘fits the bill’ for the owners, guests and crew.”
