Hakvoort 61-metre project 'Golden Age' scheduled for 2015

Leading Dutch boat builder, Hakvoort Yachts, is currently working on its largest build to date, the 61-metre superyacht labelled Golden Age. 

Construction is reported to be progressing well with the project being overseen by Moran Yacht and Ship.

Sinot Yacht Design has taken care of the exterior design as well as the interior on board Project Golden Age, while Diana Yacht Design is the naval architect.

The four-deck yacht boasts a number of highlights for the owner and their guests; the owner benefits by having the entire upper deck for themselves. They get a 180-degree panoramic view from the wrap-around glazing at the fore as well as a plush seating and relaxing area on-deck with a Jacuzzi on the fore deck just forward of their master suite.

The next lavish suite on board is the VIP suite, which is located on the main deck. In total, Golden Age provides accommodation for fourteen guests.

On board are dual 3512C marine diesels to power her to a top-end speed of 15.5-knots. There are a number of other features for the guests to take advantage of while on board. The sundeck hosts an eight-metre swimming pool, and has a steam room along with a purpose-built massage area.

The 61-metre superyacht is anticipated to launch in 2015.
