In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Heesen has announced that YN 18250, formerly known as Project Ayla, has been launched at the firm’s Oss shipyard. Her owners have christened their new yacht White.
At 50 metres (164 foot) and with a gross tonnage below the 500GT threshold, White is a new addition to the 5000 Aluminium class.
Beginning originally on speculation and purchased one year into construction, the exterior lines have been designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects with the interior being handled by Cristiano Gatto, who worked with the owners to tailor their purchase to suit their tastes and lifestyle.
Gatto created bespoke pieces of furniture for the main saloon and sky lounge, which act as highly distinctive additions to White’s interior. A versatile round coffee table in glossy ebony, stainless steel and leather features a convertible top that adapts to either an ice bucket or a leather tray.
Space and relaxation are the key themes throughout the yacht, both inside in private and social areas, and outside where fabrics from Hermès have been used for decoration. Refined detailing and a neutral palette that spans from white to brown passing through all hues of beige, hazel and caramel creates modern, sophisticated environments.
Delivery is scheduled for April 2018 after intensive sea trials in the North Sea. Another Heesen build with this design, YN 18750, is scheduled for completion in Spring 2019.
