Helly Hansen launches new styles for winter 2012

Helly Hansen has been renowned for its baselayer technology since its water-hating LIFA technology debuted in the 1970s. Since this time, the brand has continued to develop its innovative collection of baselayers, and this season is no exception as it launches its latest range of high performing, yet stylish new collection for winter 2012. A number of new designs, and flattering cuts, teamed with the season’s hottest colours and Scandinavian inspired prints will ensure there is a Helly Hansen baselayer to suit all outdoor fanatics – whatever the weather.

The HH Warm Ice T (SRP £60) is Helly Hansen’s first ever HH Warm t-shirt design, which provides the perfect solution for preventing overheating during high levels of activity on milder winter days. This lightweight t-shirt features Lifa technology on the inside to move sweat away from the skin, whilst a layer of soft merino wool on the outside ensures maximum warmth and comfort. Fashionable enough to wear during exercise or for every day use, the HH Warm Ice T is available in men’s and women’s designs in a range of bright colours.

Helly Hansen knows that not every athlete wants a baselayer with an aggressively athletic fit. For those who prefer to exercise in looser fitting clothing, Helly Hansen offers its first ever collection of relaxed fit baselayers for men and women. The HH Warm Relaxed Fit ½ Zip (SRP £80) and the long sleeved HH Warm Relaxed Fit (SRP £75) look good enough to wear for every day use, yet offer the perfect combination of warmth and moisture management, ensuring comfort, dryness and warmth during any activity.

For winter 2012, Helly Hansen’s best selling base layer, The Freeze ½ Zip (SRP £65) has been updated with a fashionable, Nordic inspired heritage print. The Freeze ½ Zip not only looks great, but also ensures the body will be kept dry and warm, even in extreme conditions. Its ½ zip design allows for additional ventilation during high intensity activity.
