In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Monaco Yacht Show 2018 is well underway – and although there’s still lots to come from this year’s event, there have already been a number of unveilings, world premieres and debuts to shout about. Here are some of the best so far.
Among the announcements so far is a 102-metre (335-foot) superyacht concept by Lateral Naval Architects. Named Project Balance and developed in collaboration with Oceanco and Sinot, the vessel will feature a number of technical innovations to increase efficiency and performance while maintaining a level of total luxury.
“From the beach club up to the observatory, the five decks provide vast space for outdoor activities, lounging and dining - with the main deck featuring a 10-metre pool and an outside cinema found on the bridge deck,” said Sinot of Balance’s design. “On the lower deck, the efficient single-level engine room creates a very spacious area for the stunning open beach club, the Laguna lounge, a large gym and a fully equipped spa with sauna. In short, Project Balance is the perfect family yacht; her innovative layout and design will set the new standard for future generations.”
Design studio Bannenberg & Rowell has also united with German yard Kusch Yachts for Project Blazon, a stunning superyacht stretching to 118 metres (387 feet). The yacht, which features naval architecture from Kusch and a steel and aluminium hull and superstructure, boasts an 18.6-metre beam and 5.5-metre draught. The two firms have previously worked on 113-metre (371-foot) Le Grand Bleu.
In addition to a raft of traditional superyacht luxuries, the build will be able to accommodate a total of 76 (32 guests and 44 crew) and include a sunken observation saloon and winter garden lounge.
Fincantieri Yachts has also unveiled a mesmerising 106-metre (348-foot) superyacht concept. Find out all about the vessel, dubbed Voyage, here.
Sunseeker has also confirmed some exciting news – the company will be joining forces with Icon Yachts on a new all-metal line of superyachts. Find out more.
Heesen, Rosetti, Nobiskrug, CCN, Mulder Design and many more yards, studios and brands have also provided news of in-build and/or upcoming projects.
