Hill Robinson announce Paul Cook as new COO

Hill Robinson has announced the appointment of Paul Cook as chief operating officer. Cook’s role will see him responsible for ensuring that Hill Robinson has the highly-skilled and motivated team, processes and procedures that will best support its global client base.

Cook has extensive industry experience and has overseen periods of exceptional growth and success as general manager of Barcelona’s Port Vell Marina. Beginning his maritime career in the Royal Navy, he then moved on to become a captain on various superyachts before choosing to turn his leadership skills to directorship and business management roles on shore.

Nick Hill, founding partner of Hill Robinson, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Paul Cook to our executive team. Our company has grown substantially and while our core business is yachting and yacht management, our network and understanding sans everything from operational compliance and technical support, to yacht sales and charter.

“To ensure a seamless client experience, it is imperative that we coordinate the delivery of our services in a manner that meets and/or exceeds expectations. Paul’s operational proficiency and professionalism are sure to help us execute this mission.”

Cook noted, "Having been intrinsically involved in the yachting world for many years, Hill Robinson is a business that I have long admired and respected. It is a pleasure to be joining this industry-leading company in the role of Chief Operating Officer and I look forward to be working with the partners and the wider team to provide exceptional levels of service to Hill Robinson clients.”
