Horizon Yachts announces sale of its first FD102 superyacht

Taiwan-based yard Horizon Yachts has announced it has sold the first in its Fast Displacement series model – the 32-metre (105-foot) motor yacht FD102 – to a European owner.

The new-build agreement was signed at Monaco Yacht Show 2018, with delivery anticipated in 2020. Construction on the superyacht has already begun, which was designed in in collaboration with Dutch yacht designer Cor D. Rover, a longstanding partner of Horizon Yachts.                 

Rover referred to the model as “an attractive representative of the evolution of the Fast Displacement Series design” and one which has a “striking exterior profile, impressive interior volume and high-performance hull design”.

The FD102 superyacht has been designed to include large outdoor spaces, along with a large beach club aft which will sit alongside a lounging and dining area.

An additional lounging area sits on the foredeck and is equipped with a U-shaped settee, sun pad and Jacuzzi.

She will house up to 10 guests across a master stateroom and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck.
