Horizon Yachts has announced that its new FD87 Skyline has successfully completed sea trials and is now being prepared for delivery. She will debut at Palm Beach International Boat Show in March.
Featuring a walkaround bridge design, the 27.45-metre (90-foot) hull will provide “flexibility” with an improved guest flow to the sky lounge, aft deck and entertainment area, according to the Taiwanese yard.
Designed by Cor D Rover, the enclosed sky lounge and bridge area is complete with a day head and dinette area, with low coffee tables covered by sunshades.
The yacht’s entertainment area is located on the foredeck and features a U-shaped settee, sunpads, sunshades and fridges, while another entertainment space is positioned aft and is equipped with a bar and grill.
Accommodating up to ten guests, the yacht presents an en-suite master stateroom on the main deck and another four guest staterooms on the lower deck.
The modern, loft-style interior creates an “open and airy feeling” on board. Warm grey and white stonework tones are used to balance the wood finish, while neutral shades such as blues and purples can be found in various textures and patterns throughout.
Powered by twin MTU 1600hp engines, the vessel reached nearly 21 knots at half load during recent sea trials.
