Royal Huisman’s Huisfit refit division has welcomed the 52-metre (171-foot) Feadship motor yacht Broadwater to its new Amsterdam facility, where major works will be carried out to have the yacht transformed by early 2020.
Working together with designer Adam Voorhees, Broadwater’s owner will convert the yacht from a strictly private vessel into a charter-ready superyacht with modern and liveable additions to the yacht’s layout. Peter Wilson from MCM will oversee the project on behalf of the owner.
Huisfit reports that Broadwater will receive a four-metre extension in the form of a re-styled stern section and repainted in a new colour scheme. The teak decking and furniture on the main and bridge decks will be replaced, and a new composite mast section will be built with awnings. Guest and crew areas inside will also be updated.
