Italian naval architecture studio, Hydrotec has revealed its latest 100-metre superyacht concept, Project Crossbow.
Measuring 100-metres (328-foot) in length, and with a beam of 12.5 metres and a draft of 3.5 metres, the Crossbow concept features an aluminium hull and superstructure. Unusually for a 100m superyacht, Crossbow is designed to create a high performance and efficient all-aluminium vessel, which is both fast and light.
Her concept renderings show a sleek and sporty aesthetic, with extensive use of glass to give the impression of large continuous glazing through a curved windscreen. This, in turn, creates a huge double-height and forward-facing interior lounge.
Her interior is designed with flexibility in mind, with various layouts available for either a private owner's deck or a larger owner's suite on the upper deck.
To allow her to reach higher speeds, her exterior deck areas have been designed with light, fixed furniture, with guest areas that are well protected from the wind. At the bow she has an expansive entertaining and sunbathing area that can be used at anchor, and a beach club with a total area of 135m2.
Aboard, Crossbow features an integrated heli-hangar on the foredeck, and two 9.5-metre tenders and toys in her aft garage. She is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines affording her a top speed of 25 knots.
