In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
French yard JFA Yachts has announced it has signed an order to build a 24-metre (79-foot) catamaran motor yacht, which will expand its Long Island collection.
Currently known as Long Island 78’ Power, the new model has been developed in collaboration with design partner Marc Lombard. Vital statistics include an 11.17-metre beam and a maximum draught of just 1.24 metres, making her suited to shallow-water cruising.
JFA confirmed that the hull will be built from aluminium, while the superstructure will consist of lightweight composites. Franck Darnet Design will implement the interior décor from a mixture of oak and darker timbers.
On-board accommodation will be for up to 10 guests split across five staterooms, including an owner’s suite and a guest cabin in the portside hull and three further cabins in the starboard hull.
The main deck layout will boast a saloon, dining area, galley and navigation area, with the main helm position situated on the flybridge. For al-fresco relaxation, guests will be able to choose between the sheltered cockpit and the spacious foredeck.
Power will come from a pair of 500hp engines for a top speed of 15 knots and comfortable cruising at 12 knots.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the French yard include the second JFA Long Island 85 sailing catamaran, which is due to be delivered imminently.
