Karpaz Gate Marina announces new annual berthing prices

Karpaz Gate Marina has announced its new annual berthing prices for boats hoping to berth at its five Gold Anchor marina facility in Northern Cyprus this year.

According to Karpaz Gate Marina, the new berthing rates offer boat owners “attractive annual and short-term berthing prices throughout the year, and includes special Summer Campaign discounts and packages.”

In a recent statement, representatives shared the cost of an annual berth at the marina, which is an official port of entry, is now €3,132 for a 14m boat, with free haul out and antifouling included as part of its 2016 Summer Campaign. 

Included in its 2016 Summer Campaign, annual berth holders can also take advantage of a free hull wash and 14-days hard standing, or alternatively elect to take advantage of a 40% discount berthing rate. 

Deniz Akaltan, harbour master at Karpaz Gate Marina said, “Even before any special campaign discounts, an annual berth at Karpaz Gate Marina for a boat with an LOA of 12m to 14.99m will cost €3,132 with the free haul-out option, while a one-year berth for a boat between 21m and 24.99m is priced at €11,907. 

“Daily rates, while no campaigns are running, are also just €38 for a 12 to 14.99m boat or €123 for a 21m to 24.99m yacht.” 

He continued, “The marina offers an outstanding value-for-money, tax-free destination for yachts, acting as a low-cost, long-term base for all yacht owners seeking a safe, secure home for their boat in the East Mediterranean.

“The marina is also an unmissable destination for a short to medium-term visit for boat owners from nearby Turkey, and for sailors or charter companies cruising in the region who are interested in exploring the beautiful Karpaz Peninsula and North Cyprus attractions.”
