Lamborghini presents Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht concept

Automobili Lamborghini and superyacht builder The Italian Sea Group have joined forces to create a limited edition, supercar-inspired pocket superyacht concept, Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.

The 19.2-metre (63-foot) “Lamborghini on water” revolves around performance, driving pleasure, attention to quality and emotion, and is aimed at a younger demographic. When it hits the water in 2021 will become the fastest motor yacht in the Tecnomar fleet with a top speed of more than 60 knots, with power coming from a pair of MAN V12-2000hp engines.

Named after the year the luxury Italian supercar brand was first established in 1963, Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is inspired primarily by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, with key hallmarks of both Tecnomar and Lamborghini evident in the design and the construction.

Exterior design knits together a sporty silhouette with a nautical appearance, while other noteworthy details include a hardtop inspired by Lamborghini’s sports cars and bow lights that pay homage to the Y-shaped front lights seen on the luxury Italian brand’s concept car Terzo Millennio and the aforementioned Sián FKP 37.

Further evidence of sports car inspiration comes in 63’s bridge controls and navigational panels. All details are finished in carbon fibre, the helm resembles a steering wheel and the start/stop buttons are identical to those found in the car’s cockpit.

Moving inside, Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 features clean lines, hexagonal shapes, the Y-motif and Italian-made materials. Available in a number of external colours, the motor yacht is fully customisable in colours and materials.

“Selected owners around the world will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 masterpiece. I’m proud that we have chosen to create this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini, which links technology, supreme design, quality and performance.”

No details on price have yet been revealed.
