Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) has hailed last week’s The Next Experience Boat Show a big success. The event, which LYC organised with Nextwave Yachting, boasted an impressive line-up of popular yachts and premium lifestyle brands last weekend (23rd to 24th July).
Two of the latest Sunseeker yacht models, Manhattan 68 Pacific and Predator 74, were on display, while an array of luxury brands also exhibited. Private jet charterer L’voyage, British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin and Swiss watch designer Vacheron Constantin were among those with a presence.
Hundreds of VIPs attended the event, invited along by the brands who were present. Some were yachting enthusiasts while others were new to sailing and wanted to take in the state-of-the-art marina at Lantau.
“As the newest marina in Hong Kong, LYC is the perfect venue for boat shows and exclusive events for luxury labels,” noted Ivan Lee, vice president of LYC. “Several industry partners have organised successful events here. With an increasing number of yachts berthing, LYC is proud to gradually become a superyacht hub and yachting activity centre in Hong Kong.
“We look forward to more collaborations with members of the yachting industry to promote the yachting lifestyle to a wider audience so that the leisure boating community will continue to grow and thrive.”
