Largest Below Deck superyacht listed for sale

TWW has listed The Wellesley, the yacht that appeared as The Wellington in popular reality TV show Below Deck Mediterranean, for sale with an asking price of €14,500,000 (c. $17,093,000). 

The 56.1-metre (184-foot) superyacht was built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco in steel and aluminium and has proved to be a highly successful charter yacht. With an exterior designed by Gerhard Gilgenast, the yacht was delivered in 1993 and undertook a major refit in 2016 before appearing on the fifth season of Below Deck.

As the largest yacht to appear in the hit TV show, The Wellesley boasts a large interior designed by Donald Starkey, accommodating up to 12 guests in six cabins and up to 12 crew members.

With one master suite, a double/twin on the upper deck, a double/twin and a second master suite on the main deck and both a double and a twin on the lower deck, all rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom.

Soft furnishings and panoramic windows can be found in the generously sized saloon on the main deck, with warm woods and a gloss white ceiling. Forward of the lounge is the formal dining area, with a luxury round table that can seat up to 10 guests.

The Wellesley also has a sky lounge on the upper deck with a sofa, chairs, coffee table and writing desk. Other amenities on the 56.1m yacht include a club lounge, a waterfall-equipped Jacuzzi, gym, and a large, open deck space.

With a cruising speed of 13 knots, topping out at 16 knots, the vessel has twin 1,530hp MTU diesel engines.
