Lasers and DJ cabin among features added to newly refitted Benetti ‘party yacht’

52-metre (171-foot) Benetti yacht Falcon has been transformed into a fully optimised “party yacht” following a major refit at Turkish yacht Bilgin Yachts.

The detailed refitting process saw numerous changes to the yacht’s original format.

The deck has been divided into three large areas and features a spacious forward sundeck equipped with tables, backrests, bar and BBQ. It also boasts new tables that can be raised and lowered, depending on the type of even being hosted.

The old Jacuzzi has been replaced by a new one surrounded by glass walls, with all systems having been upgraded. A day head has also been fitted in close proximity to the Jacuzzi.

The owner wanted to “enliven the atmosphere during the night”, requesting that the seating areas be upgraded with glowing fabric and the bar area rebuilt with increased lighting. Speakers, lasers, steam units and a DJ cabin have also been incorporated into the design to remodel the sun deck into a private nightclub.

Moving inside, the colours have been overhauled in the main and upper decks, with the owner opting for an ebony colour scheme.

The layout of the upper deck has been completely rearranged to allow for a further bar area, while the interior design boasts an array of new elements including decorative panels, mirrors and glass. Elsewhere, the main saloon remains largely unmodified, aside from the addition of more colourful upholstery atop all seating.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, of which they all benefit from Falcon’s newfound party-vibe design scheme.

The yacht’s technical aspects have received upgrades, with the automation system, hydraulic mechanism, fire detection system, main switchboard, exhaust discharge and circulating pump among the equipment that has been refreshed.

Power continued to come from two 1,850hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which allows for a top speed of 16 knots.

The Falcon “party yacht” was delivered to her Kuwaiti owner in time for the start of the summer season.
