Lazzara Ombres reveals Oasis 80 concept

Lazzara Ombres Architects has outlined its latest superyacht concept, a 24-metre (79-foot) three-decked power catamaran support vessel hybrid called Oasis 80.

Architects Joe Lazzara and Ian Ombres have designed Oasis 80 with an aluminium hull and superstructure, and a full-beam lower deck to provide ample space for toys and tenders.

The lower deck would contain a 950-square-foot tender garage and beach club with an integrated 6,500 SWL telescoping crane to enable the safe launching of the tender.

Potential owners have the ability to customise the tender layouts to accommodate either one 8.5-metre tender and four Jet Skis, or two 8.5-metre tenders. In addition, Oasis 80 would be capable of accommodating one Jetlev Flyer, four paddleboards and four Sea Bobs.

She comes with an optional ‘FunAir package’, which would include an in-built compressor and removable carbon davit for a top-deck slide and climbing wall, resulting in a faster set-up and take-down time.

Ombres commented, “We consulted with FunAir engineering for the best locations which allow toys to deploy quicker and have integrated compressors and compartments.

“The hull maintains the traditional catamaran under carriage clearances but with a step hull to alleviate wave slamming and accommodate various load conditions while under way.”

Accommodation on board is for up to 10 guests across two twin cabins, two doubles and a full-beam owner’s apartment with fold-down private balconies on each side. The crew quarters can house up to five staff across two cabins. The open-plan main deck features a lounge and dining area.

Further details are to be disclosed at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show later this year.
