Licia Yachts unveils 24m power catamaran explorer concept

Turkish shipyard Licia Yachts has unveiled its latest 24-metre (79-foot) power catamaran explorer concept, specifically for long-range cruising.

The Licia C24 Explorer features a beam of 9.85 metres and hull and superstructure constructed from epoxy composite.

Designed in-house, the explorer yacht will feature interior styling courtesy of Darnet Design and naval architecture by Notilus Design.

Providing 175 square metres of interior living spaces and 190 metres of outdoor space, Licia C24 Explorer will present maximum comfort, performance and safety.

The yacht’s interior has been described as ‘light and contemporary with discreet luxury’. However, customisation is optional. The owner can decide between the design for eight guests across four cabins, or the layout accommodating 10 in five cabins. There is an additional two cabins for four crew members.

Situated on the main deck, the owner’s suite overlooks the sea with beautiful 180-degree views.

Licia C24 Explorer will be powered by two Cummins QSM11 engines to reach a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 10.5 knots, and for a range of 3,200 nautical miles.
