Lürssen to present Coral Ocean at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016

Lürssen is to present Coral Ocean – formerly known as Coral Island – at the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show this year. Coral Ocean is one of the first original designs of the late stylist and interior designer, Jon Bannenberg, both in terms of her exterior line and her Polynesian interior.

According to a Lurssen press release, Coral Ocean was originally launched in 1994 and has been “beautifully maintained throughout her life”, having spent several winters at Lürssen – most recently this last winter, where certain areas of the yacht were changed and updated to conform to certain standards, before she is made available on the charter market.

So far, Coral Ocean has only been used privately. Upon her entry to the charter market, Lurssen states that guests who have the opportunity to cruise on her in the Med this summer will “be amazed” by her beach house style interior.

Lurssen also pointed out that Coral Ocean was one of the first yachts whose interior featured a gym and spa area; features which are more typical of new builds today.

Monaco Yacht Show 2016 begins on 28^th September, and runs until and including 1^st October.
