In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Lürssen has revealed details of its latest new-build superyacht, Fiji, which was spotted splashing down the slipway on 27th October 2017.
Earlier reports from brokers Moran Yacht & Ship suggested that the yacht - dubbed Project Maui on the day of her launch - measured 98-metres, but Lürssen has since revealed an LOA of 95-metres.
The steel and aluminium yacht features exterior design by Harrison Eidsgaard, and “contemporary modern” interiors by Laura Sessa Design.
According to Lürssen, the contract was signed at the 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
New details reveal a beam of 14-metres, as well as an integrated fireplace for evenings under the stars, and a skylight in her upper deck aft that guests can safely walk across.
She accommodates 20 guests in 10 staterooms, and is fitted out with a 12m swimming pool and large diving area, as well as what Moran refers to as a ‘huge spa’. Her bow area will be able to store a helicopter below deck.
According to reports, the sundeck will have a dedicated crane to launch and retrieve her aeroboat, while first images show cutout areas in her bow and stern to suggest that there will be extensive storage for tenders and water toys below deck.
She will also have a helicopter landing pad and hangar below deck.
Other projects currently under development at the shipyard include 135m Project Thunder, which is due for a 2018 completion, and 139m Project Redwood, scheduled for delivery the following year.
