Marina Port Vell supports superyacht industry through special event sponsorship

Marina Port Vell (MPV), Barcelona is set to become one of the world’s most elite superyacht destinations and, with phased marina completions throughout 2013, the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean—will lend its support to the Captain’s Lounge at the Antibes Yacht Show and the Crew Show in Palma.

As a sponsor of the Antibes Yacht Show Captain’s Lounge, Marina Port Vell will provide support for a relaxed networking atmosphere and will meet captains and their guests for drinks and lunch. The Captain’s Lounge, located in the Bastion St. James, is open from 09.00-18.00 daily.

The Crew Show is slated for 26 April 2013 in Palma. The show begins at 13.00 with an Exhibitors Lunch. From 16.00-20.00 exhibitor stands are open; various demonstrations and competitions will be held, complimented by a raffle and the famous “Hog Roast.” Raffle proceeds benefit the Ondine Association Stingray Program. A fashion show from Deckers rounds out the events.
