In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Brazilian yard MCP Yachts has released further details and the first interior renderings of its forthcoming MCP 92.5 RPH yacht.
The 27.74-metre (91-foot) in-house design is being built from aluminium with a 7.15-metre beam and a maximum draught of 1.85 metres. The new images show changes to the exterior styling, with a bolder colour scheme now being preferred to the originally proposed classic-blue finish.
In other amendments to the initial design, the wheelhouse windows are now vertical and a new cut-out section in the superstructure hints at a fold-out superyacht balcony.
Accommodation on board the 92.5 is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a main-deck master suite, two doubles and three twin cabins. The crew quarters allow for a staff of up to three people and features separate access on the portside of the engine room.
The yard says that it will be offering a four-cabin and a five-cabin alternative on any future models.
The utilisation of cream furniture and light woodwork lends to a relaxed atmosphere to the on-board décor, while outside the expansive sundeck boasts a hardtop bimini, a barbecue and a bar area. Tender storage aft is accessed via a built-in davit crane.
MCP is offering a host of engine installations from 2,030hp to 3,800hp, with the owner of the first hull selecting the most powerful twin 1,900hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which are expected to deliver a top speed of 25 knots. When cruising at 10 knots, the 92.5 will possess a maximum cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles, thanks to its total fuel capacity of 8,796 litres.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Brazilian yard include the 43.28m MCP 140 Hemisphere, scheduled to hit the water before the end of the year.
