In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
In light of the increasingly rapid global developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the board of directors of the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) have chosen to cancel the Mediterranean Yacht Show 2020, which was set to take place from 2nd – 6th May this year.
This decision was made after a careful assessment of the worldwide situation, GYA shared its thoughts on Facebook “The wellbeing of our guests and associates is always of the utmost importance to us so we have decided to follow what we consider the most responsible route in respect to the event.”, it has thus decided to follow what it believes to be the most responsible route of action in respect to the event.
Travel and flight bans are already in place in many countries (and this may be extended) which makes planning near impossible as far as logistics are concerned. It is GYA’s hope that the coming weeks will present positive developments and that it will begin to work on the recovery process for this unprecedented situation.
The Greek Yachting Association are disappointed by the turn of events, but recognise that under current circumstances, mass gatherings may not be advisable. The business looks forward to welcoming its customers in 2021, with calm seas, fair winds and blue skies.
