MHG Insurance welcomes Claudio Cimini as manager of marketing and client relations

MHG Insurance, one of the marine industry’s leading insurance brokers and advisers, has announced that Claudio Cimini has joined the company as manager of marketing and client relations. In this role, he will be responsible for broadening MHG’s European footprint in the marine industry. Cimini will be based in the company’s office in Hamburg, Germany.

A seasoned client relations and marketing professional, Cimini joins MHG with over 20 years’ experience, having held various roles in both the maritime and financial services industries throughout his career. Prior to joining MHG, Cimini was the senior account and project manager at Yachting Pages Media Group, a well-known marketing company promoting products and services to yacht captains, crew, and other stakeholders working in the superyacht industry.

“Claudio’s experience and background in the marine and financial industries, and his contagious, outgoing personality make him a great fit for this role and this company,” said Mark Bononi, MHG’s director of sales and marketing. “We have been looking to fill this position for a long time and are excited to have identified someone with the unique qualifications it takes to be a successful member of this industry.”

MHG Insurance is marking its 30th anniversary this year since introducing crew health insurance to the marine industry. With over tens of thousands of captains, officers, and crew insured, MHG has positively impacted countless lives in an effort to make the marine industry a better place to work and live. In addition to the company’s crew benefits expertise, MHG is also known for providing liability and casualty coverage for ship repairers, entertainers, concessionaires, and tour operators, in addition to hull and P&I insurance for pleasure craft.
