Greek chandlery Nautilus Yacht Equipment has announced the opening of its new Athens-based warehouse, located just 9km from its main store.
Yiannis Tsavdaridis, CEO of Nautilus Yacht Equipment, explained, “The move to a bigger facility was necessary because of the growth of our products in stock.
“The new warehouse will benefit both us and our customers as it’s located in a strategic location that will allow us to control and update our stock in all of our eight shops.”
Tsavdaridis added that the yacht chandlery is looking forward to implementing a new WMS System throughout 2020, commenting, “We are committed to continue delivering the best service that exceeds customer expectations; a new WMS system will help us fulfil orders more rapidly and instantaneously trace ordered products within the warehouse. It can also reduce the likelihood of errors that could occur when a product is shipped.”
Nautilus Yacht Equipment has also been awarded The Best Yacht Equipment Store in Greece by The Yachting Awards 2019, an event that honoured the yachting, maritime tourism and yacht leaders who contributed to the development of maritime tourism, the yacht market and the country's economy.
