New 80m Feadship concept unveiled by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design

Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design has unveiled a new 80m superyacht concept for Feadship, named Project Zen.

According to the design studio, the aim with this new all-aluminium concept was to design one large saloon rather than having two lounges stacked on top of each other. The idea was a result of client discussions, where owners admitted they rarely use both lounges, and has been developed in close collaboration with Feadship CEO Henk de Vries.

Project Zen’s interior makes full use of the bridge deck and main deck, featuring a 100sqm lounge with side panels and aft glass corners that can be opened out, connecting the area to the aft deck.

Other standout features on board Project Zen include nearly 500sqm of deck space, an eight-metre swimming pool, a spa pool on the foredeck, and a helipad on the upper deck.

As well as foldout superyacht terraces, the dining area, located amidships, features sliding doors on both sides to connect with the other exterior spaces. The décor features custom-made furniture, dark woodwork, silk carpets and soft chenille fabrics.

Accommodation is available for between 10 and 12 guests across four to five VIP guest cabins, and a full-beam owner’s stateroom on the main deck. There is also room for up to 25 crew on board.

Project Zen is powered by one Caterpillar diesel-electric powerplant, allowing a top speed of 18 knots, and silent cruising at 10 knots.
