Italian shipyard, Codecasa, has announced it is constructing a new 65m superyacht at its yard in Viareggio, Italy. Delivery of the vessel, currently known as Hull F74, is scheduled for the summer of 2019.
She is being built from an in-house design with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with the yard stating that she is a fully custom project. Her interior has been described as functional, with comfortable and spacious relaxation spaces on each deck.
Renderings released last year show that a sizable swimming pool features on the foredeck, with ample tender storage forward.
Power will come from twin 2,365hp Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines, creating a top speed of 17.5 knots, and the total fuel capacity of 160,000 litres will allow for a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles when travelling at 12 knots.
Other projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the 43m Codecasa C122, due to launch before the end of the year.
