Following the completion of her most extensive refit to date at the Heesen shipyard facility in Oss in the Netherlands, Heesen Yachts is set to host an open day aboard the 37-metre all-aluminium superyacht Ilona in London, UK next week.
Welcoming yacht brokers aboard on the 19th May 2015, motor yacht Ilona will be berthed in the heart of London at Butler’s Wharf to allow interested parties a rare look inside.
Launched in 2007, Ilona’s interior and exterior was designed by Heesen in collaboration with Omega Architects. The semi-displacement hull boasts a 7.5m beam and 7.2m draft that is powered by twin MTU 12v 4000 M90 diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 28 knots.
She is the sistership to 37m superyacht Aurelia, accommodating up to 12 guests across her four guest cabins and full beam owner’s suite. She has a Jacuzzi on her sundeck, as well as a tender garage and swimming platform, allowing for easy access to the water.
Her most recent refit saw a complete repaint undertaken, with her previously dark blue hull now all white, complimented by a contrasting black stripe and subtle red line, which Heesen states to make her look ‘as sharp as she is fast.’
Interested brokers are invited to contact Heesen Yachts to confirm their attendance and client visits can be arranged by appointment on 18th and 20th May.
