The Norman-Spencer Agency Inc., a leading American insurance provider, has this week announced the immediate launch of its marine insurance service division; the TradeWinds Yacht Insurance Program.
TradeWinds will provide flexible pricing and underwriting guidelines for luxury yachts up to the value of $2,000,000, including high limits for standard coverage at no additional cost, among other benefits.
Paul Sexton, vice president of Norman-Spencer’s marine insurance division commented, “For years, Norman-Spencer has provided the recreational marine insurance marketplace with broad programmes for pleasure boaters and businesses alike. The addition of our new TradeWinds yacht programme continues to solidify that success and drive Norman-Spencer’s growth in boat and yacht programme management.”
He added, “The new programme for large yachts will greatly expand our 35-year-running AcuaPac programme that serves small to mid-sized vessels.”
The insurance provider claims that both programmes provide “broad, affordable coverage that accommodate the full spectrum of boats, from personal watercraft to large sail and power yachts”, and it is the endorsed consumer insurance product of the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas.
