Northrop & Johnson’s 34m 'True North' sold

Northrop and Johnson has recently announced the sale of True North, their 34m superyacht, through yacht brokers, Luke Brown Yachts.

Part of the Westport 112 range from U.S. shipyard Westport Yachts and built in 2006, True North features naval architecture from Jack Sarin Naval Architects and a highly customised interior design undertaken by Robin Rose and Associates, which differs her extensively from her sisterships.

She went through an extensive refit in 2015, which saw the mains and generators serviced, as well as new teak on the swim platform and a new coat of paint. Amongst modern styling and responsive performance, she can accommodate eight guests with two guest cabins, a VIP suite and a full beam master suite, all with en-suite facilities.

True North’s flybridge features a custom hard top, a boat deck, lounge seating, Jacuzzi and bar, whilst her twin MTU 12V 2000 M91 engines allow a range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, and a cruising speed of up to 24 knots.

At the time of sale, she was listed for $5,995,000.
