Ocean Safety completes range of liferafts with new Ocean Standard

Ocean Safety has announced the addition of the new Ocean Standard liferaft, the latest addition in their liferaft range. The Ocean Standard has been introduced to fulfill the requirement for a quality, yet practical, entry-level liferaft, which is ideal for coastal and short offshore recreational boating.

The raft comprises of all the features you would expect to see in a raft of this caliber. The four large water pockets are designed to provide additional stability, whilst the thermal insulated floor is devised to keep the heat in and the cold out. The wide zip closed entrance, weighted boarding ladder and further internal webbing ladder has been engineered to maximise ease of entry into the raft.

Additional features include an automatic light and durable high-vis nylon canopy to enhance its night-time visibility, rain collection and dispenser systems and a safety pack, containing everything from flares, a torch and knife to a pair of oars.

Charlie Mill, managing director of Ocean Safety said, “Until now we have found it challenging to source a quality product that we are happy to present at this level and one that integrates well with our existing product range. We are committed to offering quality products to our customers that meet our exacting standards and are worthy of being part of Ocean Safety’s offering.”

The Ocean Standard is a welcome addition, fulfilling the gap in the lower end of the range, whilst completing the Ocean Safety liferaft portfolio. Ocean Safety now covers every base in liferaft supply and service, which is supported by their global servicing network.
