OceanLED introduces its ‘next generation’ underwater LED lighting

OceanLED, a leader in marine lighting, has announced the latest addition to its underwater LED lighting range. The Allure Colours XFM HD Gen2 gives yacht owners the ability to have full colour LED lighting; it’s designed in a stylish and compact case that is easily mounted and exchanged when needed for servicing or upgrading.

According to OceanLED, Allure Colours utilises some of the latest and most innovative four-channel RGBW (Red/Green/Blue/White) high definition LEDs. The lighting can be controlled via DMX-512 through the vessel’s on-board systems, or wirelessly via third party devices such as an iPad, iPhone or Android device. OceanLED also revealed that if used with the new OceanDMX Kit and App for Android or iOS, the owner has all the control and customisation needed to create an on-demand scene or light display, with full control over sensitivity, speed and brightness.

Guppy Dhariwal, CEO of OceanLED commented, “Allure Colours allows yacht and boat owners to experience the full power of OceanLED’s Colours technology in a compact and stylish unit. The Allure maximises the design and features of our market leading pro series range in a smaller model that’s ideal for all sizes of boat, giving owners an un-paralleled light display”.

Used in conjunction with the DMX Wi-Fi touch panel controller, the owner can pre- program more than 40 static and dynamic colour scenes to set the mood, enhance an on-board event, strobe to attract fish, or even change colour with the time of day. What’s this? Xchangeable Flush Mount (XFM) is designed for an easy exchange without hauling should servicing ever be needed. The Allure also features a low profile giving it virtually unlimited hull mounting options.
