On-board.app rebrands as Dockendo to offer first job board platform for the superyacht industry

Formerly On-board.app, the first job board platform for the superyacht industry Dockendo has entered the market to revolutionise, digitalise and adapt the superyacht industry.

Founded in 2020 and based in Poland, Dockendo has attracted significant traction in terms of registered users and scoring first sales, resulting in the platform gaining the attention of investors. The platform offers a unique solution for crew members to apply for new jobs, rather than visiting ports and marinas to hand out a paper CV, known as ‘dockwalking’.

The RKKVC fund recently led an investment initiative to complete a funding round with participation from Czysta 3 fund. This will enable the team at Dockendo to expand its reach, increase market share and develop new R&D-based product features, that will improve the recruiting outcome using soft skills assessments.

Co-founders Michal Niegowski and Adrian Viñuales are convinced that with the support of their investors and the new resources, Dockendo will come out stronger than ever during this exciting phase, targeting a global audience with a smart sales and marketing strategy.

Dockendo is accessible via browser, IOS and Android apps, and offers the possibility for yacht owners, captains, and agencies to create vessel profiles and post job listings looking for qualified crews. Candidates can upload their CV, video presentation and certificates, facilitating the process for both parties through the advance matching system algorithms, including soft and hard skills, for the perfect match.
