The online open day is approaching for the Bachelor’s Degree in Business with Specialisation in Management for Yacht Captains - an innovative learning experience promoted and developed by the ISYL Foundation (Italian Superyacht Life) and NAVIGO, and powered by GY Academy, HEI, an international higher education institution based in Malta.
The free open day will take place on 15th April at 17:00 CET.
The course is aimed at captains with years of experience in the sector with no educational qualifications that wish to learn more without having to restudy everything they have already learned.
The degree allows students to study in the area of yacht management, experiment with innovative learning approaches to acquire the skills and experiences required to thrive in their job role or change position in the industry.
The degree was designed with the aim to provide people with the skills to work in the Italian maritime sector, guaranteeing quality and protecting the professionalism of captains.
The course includes teaching online and work experiences, allowing students to be more flexible to work and study at the same time wherever they are.
Entry requirements include the completion of secondary school, matriculation exam or professional qualification (MQF level 5), or at least one year of documented seagoing service.
