PC Design has revealed designs for 24.8m cruiser, Project Italia, the Italian design studio’s latest concept.
Designed by Mattia Piro and Matteo Cappellazzo, the cruiser is described as a ‘hyper yacht’, due to its ability to reach a cruising speed of 46 knots, and estimated top speed of 60 knots.
Accommodation is available for four guests and two crew on board, but deck space allows for up to 16 guests during the day.
Standout features on board Project Italia include a spa pool and cocktail bar on the lower deck, with a spacious seating area. The concept also features gullwing doors which store a pair of Jet Skis. Her design is described by PC Design as “simple, chic and beautifully lit”; this refers to the choice of variable lighting schemes available for the cruiser’s two en-suite bathrooms.
Project Italia, if built, would be powered by two 1,925hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, with twin-disc Arneson 14 surface drives. An additional design feature of the vessel is the ability to see the engines thanks to inlaid glass within its teak decking.
