Pendennis looks back on 2014

2014 has been very busy for Pendennis. The yard completed theIR substantial two-year refit and remodel of M5, along with the refit of three Pendennis yachts simultaneously: Rebecca, Christopher and Nostromo.

The fourth Pendennis Cup showcased the very best of British sailing with a beautiful fleet of classic and modern yachts competing over the four days of racing. An amazing 50th anniversary display by the Red Arrows, watched by tens of thousands of spectators along the shoreline of Falmouth Bay, provided a fitting climax to the week.

The facilities at Pendennis have improved dramatically over the past year, making the yard almost unrecognisable to revisiting crews. Two new 90m construction halls and a third 45m hall were finished and filled immediately with projects. At the same time improved crew and project offices, a new 420m² hospitality suite and additional trade workshops have been created. In 2015 Pendennis is looking forward to seeing the completion of the non-tidal wet basin, which will provide a more convenient space for yachts of up to 100m before and after their refit/build time in the yard.

This investment in Pendennis’ development has created a competitive and impressive range of world-class facilities that further enhances our standing within the global superyacht industry.
