Perini Navi launches second 42-metre E-volution hull

Perini Navi has launched the second hull in its 42-metre E-volution sailing line.

The yacht was launched at the yard’s Istanbul facility on December 5 and will now be moved to Viareggio for completion. It remains on track for a 2021 delivery.

Key features include an aluminium hull, lifting keel and naval architecture by Reichel - Pugh. The exterior design by Perini Navi also features a carbon fibre superstructure and deckhouse.

The 275GT interior will accommodate a total of eight guests in four staterooms while the crew quarters will accommodate seven staff in four cabins.

It comes after the first 42-metre hybrid sailing yacht in the E-volution line arrived in Italy in March to complete construction.

The E-volution line offers an innovative hybrid propulsion system that combines a main diesel engine and an electric motor as part of the shipyard’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
