Pinmar Yacht Supply introduces first Premium Retail Partner

International superyacht supply company, Pinmar Yacht Supply has announced the launch of its first Premium Retail Partner in collaboration with Yachting Spirit, based in the new Yachting Village at La Ciotat Shipyard.

A letter‐of‐intent has been signed between Rupert Savage, director and chief commercial officer of GYG plc, the parent company of Pinmar Yacht Supply, and Nico Cau, owner of Yachting Spirit, with the agreement to come into effect in October.

Having established a network of more than ten Official Retail Partners already across Europe, the introduction of the first Premium Partner symbolises a close synergy between Pinmar Yacht Supply and Yachting Spirit, and will provide existing and new customers with the high levels of service, expert technical knowledge and quality range of products expected at a traditional Pinmar Yacht Supply facility.

Yachting Spirit has recently relocated from Port Vieux to a state‐of‐the‐art, 600m2 retail store on the front line of the new Yachting Village complex within La Ciotat Shipyard. It will be the only marine chandlery store in the shipyard, providing a traditional chandlery as well as crew uniforms and provisioning services.

Commenting on the announcement, Savage said, “We are delighted to welcome Nico and his Yachting Spirit team as our first Premium Retail Partner. As one of the early members of our Official Retail Partner programme, we have developed a close working relationship over the past few years, and it is a natural step to introduce this new Premium level partnership with them. Our existing Pinmar Yacht Supply customers visiting the South of France can rest assured they are in good hands, and we look forward to welcoming new customers and growing further with Yachting Spirit.”
