In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Porto Montenegro has announced that the redesign and refurbishment of the former Lido Mar complex is now complete. Complimenting the existing 128 superyacht berths within the renowned port, the complex has been transformed into the new Porto Montenegro Yacht Club (PMYC).
With the redesign, PMYC members will now have access to all the amenities expected of such an exclusive yacht club, including a members lounge, bar, nightclub, sailing and rowing facilities, gym, restaurant and a focal 64-metre infinity swimming pool.
Oliver Corlette, PMYC president and managing director of Porto Montenegro commented, “Since 2010, the PMYC has become an established centre for sailing in Montenegro. It was time for us to bring into alignment with other aspects of the port, and re-position it as a club of reference within the Mediterranean.”
Interior designer, Tino Zervudachi of Parisian MHZ Design, undertook the refurbishment of the Lido Mar, drawing on the design firm’s previous experience of working on similar commercial and yachting projects. With the project, he sought to recreate the sense of the traditional yacht club with additional contemporary features, seeing the expansion of both the 64m infinity pool and the Pranzo daytime restaurant, now with new menu.
The complex also now houses a new nightclub and lounge bar, named Platinum, alongside the De Gustibus Restaurant, with mezzanine bar overlooking the pool.
Simultaneously, Billy Canellas, the marina business development manager at Porto Montenegro, revealed the launch of the Regent Pool Club Residences, which already boasts 60 apartments on the market. This development, alongside the recent additions to the Porto Montenegro portfolio, showcases the region’s moves to support the growing yachting and tourism trades.
Canellas commented, “While the traditional cruising grounds of France, Spain and Italy are becoming increasingly overpopulated, Montenegro remains unique and undiscovered, offering privacy and authenticity.”
PMYC offers various levels of memberships, including PMYC Gold, PMYC, PMYC Sports Club and PMCY Sailing Squadron, full details of which can be found by contacting [email protected].
Hotel guests at the Regent Porto Montenegro can also enjoy special Regent rates for accessing PMYC, which are also included in the current summer offers.
