Qatar welcomes over 20 superyachts for FIFA World Cup 2022

According to BOAT Pro's Global Fleet Tracker, Qatar has welcomed over 20 superyachts to its waters since the start of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Some of the largest boats in the world, including the 123-metre (403-foot) Al Lusail, the 111-m (364-ft) Lürssen Alaiya and 110-m (360-ft) Feadship Anna, have arrived at Old Doha Port for the event.

The brand-new marina in Old Doha Port was built for the FIFA World Cup and provides 60 berths for vessels between 50m and 160m (164ft and 524ft), with tariffs set on a first-come-first-served basis.

Additional yachts to make the journey from the Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf include SilverYachts explorer Bold and Sanlorenzo flagship Attila.

Meanwhile, a handful of vessels made their way to Qatar after attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, including the 104.8m (343ft) Lady Moura and 88.5m (290ft) Oceanco Sunrays.
