Riviera announces strongest Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show since 2008

Riviera, the Australian luxury yacht builder, has announced its most successful Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show since 2008, welcoming 11 new members to its growing global family of owners.

This year, the brand’s $10 million red-carpet, on-water showcase was its largest display in Miami for five years, buoyed by renewed confidence in the American market and a favourable exchange rate. The success of the showcase saw 11 new yacht sales.

Rodney Longhurst, chairman and owner of Riviera said, “Of the 11 purchasers, only two were existing Riviera owners and this strong confirmation of the growing international affection for the Riviera and Belize marques, and our proven ongoing commitment to our owners to creates the ultimate boating experience.

It is extremely gratifying that the purchases span the range of the Riviera Sport Yacht and Flybridge collections, as well as the adventurous new SUV series… and that they involve dealers from Florida, New England and British Columbia in the United States, right through the Americas including Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.”

Longhurst continued, “Our hard-working dealers throughout the Americas are also in discussions with several more aspiring owners who were very impressed with what they saw in Miami and have indicated they will be back to see us at the 30th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show from 26th to 29th March 2015.”

Riviera’s Miami showcase included the stylish and sophisticated 6000 and 5000 Sport Yachts, the 43 Open, 50 Enclosed and 53 Enclosed Flybridge models, a Belze 54 Daybridge, as well as the enture Riviera SUV Crossover series; the 445, 515 and 565 models.
