Rosetti Superyachts announces new explorer project

Italian shipyard Rosetti Superyachts has announced that it will begin construction on a new 40-metre (131-foot) explorer project for a South American owner. The shipyard has confirmed that delivery of the explorer is scheduled for October 2023.

The shipyard has revealed that the exterior design and engineering of the superyacht will be carried out by Italian firm Hydro Tec. Rosetti has previously worked with Hydro Tec on the recently launched 38-metre (124-foot) EXP, Emocean. Hydro Tec co-founder Sergio Cutolo is reportedly working on the specification plans, which are already well underway.

Andrea Giora, sales and marketing director at Rosetti, noted that the superyacht will showcase a “modern design and true explorer features” as well as “generous volumes and excellent cruising range.”

Established in 1925, Rosetti Superyachts is renowned for their quality of execution, respect of production times and constant collaboration with clients. The Italian shipyard has built more than 100 offshore commercial vessels since, including one spanning 152 metres (500 feet).
