Italian yacht builder Rossinavi, has shared an image of the completed hull for its 47m superyacht, Longitude 47, at its shipyard in Viareggio, Italy.

Due for delivery in 2017, Rossinavi announced the order for Longitude 47 in March 2015, as it announced the sale of a new 50m custom explorer yacht, Endurance 50, which is also due for delivery in 2017.

According to the brand, the Longitude 47 will be a planing, all-aluminium sport yacht. Federico Rossi COO of Rossinavi explained, “The Longitude 47 is a unique boat in its design, the large spaces available on board are usually expected on displacement yachts with classic lines.”

With her naval architecture completed by Arrabito Naval Architects, the exterior of the Longitude 47 was designed by Fulvio de Simoni, his first collaboration with Rossinavi, who commented, “An innovative architecture allowed us to develop a sporty yacht with unusual proportions.”

The interior designer has not yet been announced, but Longitude 47 will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests, with a superyacht crew of nine.  She will have a panoramic owner’s cabin, as well as two other VIP cabins.

Her engine will consist of twin MTU 12V 4000 M93L diesels, able to deliver a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 17 knots. She is also able to reach a range of 3,800nm at a speed of 12 knots.
